NOTICED is delighted to launch a partnership with GROW Mentoring, a registered charity and legal mentoring diversity initiative which pairs aspiring lawyers with mentors from similar backgrounds, communities or interests within the legal industry.
Our NOTICED mentors (trainee solicitors, associates and Partners within our member firms) will offer tailored advice to talented students and graduates from ethnic minority backgrounds, through monthly video/phone calls, email contact and hopefully some in person events in the future.
NOTICED Steering Committee member and associate at Reed Smith LLP, Nicolle Odutoye commented: “We are really focused on increasing diversity in the legal industry and making it more accessible to individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds. Mentoring offers such a great opportunity for those looking to pursue a career in law to gain valuable insights, support and guidance from experienced professionals. Justin and his team are doing such fantastic work in advancing diversity within the sector and we are so excited to partner with them.“
