NOTICED member firm Mayer Brown’s Fusion Network hosted ‘DiverCity: A conversation about opportunity’ on 14 June. We heard from a highly-esteemed panel comprising Stephanie Boyce, President of the Law Society of England and Wales, Matt Powell, CEO of refugee employment agency Breaking Barriers and Esi Eshun OBE, Director of Legal and Compliance at UK Export Finance. We discussed the importance of barriers to access, representation and how we can play a part in making the City a more diverse, equitable and inclusive place.
Donations were raised throughout the evening for Steel Warriors, an anti-knife crime charity that aims to build a UK-wide network of outdoor street gyms and to use street workout to transform the lives of young people affected by crime, violence and social exclusion.
