NOTICED Welcomes Jenner & Block to the Network

NOTICED is delighted to announce that Jenner & Block, an internationally renowned firm for dispute resolution and investigations, has joined our network of leading UK law firms to promote diversity in the legal profession.

“We are excited to have Jenner & Block join the roster of member firms,” said Nic Patmore, from the NOTICED Steering Committee. “They are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and building a work environment where everyone feels respected. Their participation in discussions on how we can improve ethnic diversity in the legal profession and promote a better understanding of race will be a great benefit.”

Diversity, equity and inclusion are core values for Jenner & Block. The firm recognises that a diverse team of lawyers is essential to providing clients with the best possible legal services, and it is focused on hiring and developing lawyers who reflect the multiplicity of cultures, genders, ethnic backgrounds and viewpoints represented in an increasingly global economy.

“The events of the past two years have created opportunities for us to stand up as a firm to further cement our efforts to pursue greater diversity, inclusion, equity and justice in our communities and society at large,” said Jason Yardley, a Jenner & Block disputes partner who serves as a firm representative to NOTICED. “We are proud to join NOTICED to expand those efforts and support our peers in the legal profession.”

The addition of Jenner & Block follows the recent additions of Covington & Burling, Macfarlanes, Clifford Chance, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer,Slaughter & May, Freeths, Forsters, DAC Beachcroft and Walker Morris to NOTICED’s membership earlier in the year.

NOTICED Co-Chair Sid Shukla, and Steering Committee member Nic Patmore jointly commented: “It is great to see Covington and Macfarlanes join the network, and look forward to working with the Covington and Macfarlanes teams. We are always keen to hear from firms who are keen to involve themselves with the network’s activities, as we look to continue to continue to collaborate on race, ethnicity and culture matters in the profession.”
